The time has come: this week, from 14 to 17 December, the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon Lenzerheide will take place.
For the first time in the history of the World Cup, the world elite of this sport will be competing in Switzerland. Six competitions will be held, starting with the women's sprint on Thursday (2.15 pm), followed by the men's sprint on Friday (2.15 pm). Saturday will be dominated by the pursuit (women's start at 12.45 pm and men's at 2.40 pm), before the mass start is on the programme on Sunday (women's start at 12.30 pm and men's at 2.45 pm).

Royal visit
In addition to high-tension and top performances in the shooting range and on the cross-country ski trails, there will also be plenty on offer for spectators all around. «Schwingen» will be a guest sport in the Fan Village. In cooperation with the Graubünden Wrestling Association, children and older fans can try their hand at wrestling in the ring. There will also be demonstration lessons from true experts and a wrestling bar. On Saturday, 16 December, Christian Stucki, the wrestling king of 2019, and Armon Orlik, the baddest of the bad guys in Graubünden, will mingle with the biathlon crowd. Stucki and Orlik will also take part in the panel discussion «Biathlon meets wrestling» in the centre of the Fan Village from 11.00 to 11.30 am.

The Calanda brewery is presenting the beer mat challenge, with a qualifier and a final on all four days. There will also be a beer mat flip world record attempt in the fan tent on Saturday between 3.45 pm and 4 pm. Also in the Fan Tent, the well-known «ChueLee» band will perform a live concert after the men's pursuit. Alpine skiing fans in the biathlon audience will also be catered for — thanks to public viewing of the races in Val Gardena/Gröden, Alta Badia and Val-d'Isère.

Tickets
Tickets for the four days of competition are available at lenzerheide2025.ch. All tickets include travel to and from the event throughout Switzerland by public transport — a first for a Swiss Winter Sports World Cup. Whether you are travelling from Geneva, Zurich, or Lugano — from CHF 35.00 for the lowest ticket category, you can be there live in Lenzerheide.
